I think the problem is democracy. Democracy leads to the gateway of extreme ideologies. Tbh I don't blame the commies, the fascist, the corporations. By having a democracy, we let these types of people come to power. Democracy is for the weak, and should only be a small tool idea for small things. Not to run a country. Period.
They saw an opportunity and took it. Anyone would do this.
